The Change-A-Bead© & Beth Williams Studio Guestbook
We invite you to sign our guestbook. We'd love to hear from you!
I am a friend of Mary Aarons and visited your studio on a Sunday last summer. Do you have any of your Natural Elements beads in purple, green and blue in stock? Like the ones on the postcard I have hanging at my desk? I would LOVE to buy a pair!
Thanx - Mar
Terri
Funny you should ask....I used to produce a horizontal style but they just didn't sell well enough to keep in stock so I've stopped. I do have a few left from then, though....here's a picture of what they look like and a couple of different ways I used them. The only ones I have left are the 1" (usable post length), a couple in silver and one in gold (unless there are a couple more hiding out somewhere in the boxes!).
Thanks,
Beth
I love your Change a Bead and have at least 10. I'm wondering if you can make them to hold a bead horizontally with clasps at both ends? I have a number of large beads that need to hang horizontally and would love a Change a Bead for those pieces.
Thanks,
Teri
If you are local to the area, you can come into my studio or meet me at one of my shows and I'll take a look at it. If it was defective, I'll fix or replace it but I have to see it to see what happened. If you aren't nearby, you can pop it in a padded envelope and mail it to me and I'll get back to you as soon as I receive it, and let you know what the options are.
Hope that helps...let me know how you'd like to proceed.
thanks,
Beth

Thanks for the comment; when I opened my Bead&Button issue I was so surprised and pleased to see someone come up with another original use for them and I've been trying to reach the person who wrote it to thank her. Hopefully that will happen...
As far as a 3.5" piece....I used to stock a 3.25", for about the first 8 years I made the Change-A-Beads but they just didn't sell well enough to warrant carrying the overhead to keep them in stock any longer. That being said, I have had a few people ask me to make them again and I've asked my manufacturer to give me a price on what they would be now. If you check back in with me in a month or so (it takes him a while to pull all the info together) I should know about the status and if we're going to go ahead....I'm guessing the price will be around $28 or so, but I can't be sure with the price of everything else (especially metals!) going up; they could be as much as $30. Would 3.5" be better for you than 3.25"?
I'd love to see a picture of what you're working on...do you have a website?
Thanks again for taking the time to write...
Sincerely,
Beth
I'm one of your fans in No. Ca. I have two pair of change a beads that I ordered that I haven't used, and would like to exchange for other beads. I'm sure this is ok with you, I just wanted to give you a heads up before I sent them through the mail. I'll send specific directions and colors with the returned beads. OK? Thanks, Francie
If you mean the thickness of the tube that the hoop is made of, it is 2mm. The gold-filled ones have a hinge for the ear post that is a tiny bit larger so the hole in the bead needs to be about 2.5mm or so....does that help? The silver ones are 2mm all the way around.
of Change-A-Bead products.
Hope to see you somewhere, soon. Sharon
Ciao, Ofilia
I had asked you about making a replacement bead for me and I wanted to let you know that I found it. hope you had a great Christmas and New Year. See you next summer. Linda (Virginia Beach)
I hope to make the hoops and beads available online soon, but we wanted to make sure everything was working perfectly first with the Change-A-Beads. Once the holidays are over we'll start working on getting them up....in the meantime, the order form will remain the best way available for ordering.
thanks for your kind words...
Beth
I think your website is fantastic and very informative. I will also be purchasing off your studio site, the interchangable hoop bead earrings, those look great!!! In the future will you be able to order those directly online versus sending in an order form?
Sincerely,
Susan (Phoenix, Arizona)
At the moment I don't have beads for sale available online; we wanted to launch the shopping cart with just the Change-A-Beads to start with so we could work out the kinks and make sure it's all working properly. If you see specific beads that you are interested in on my site (www.bethwilliams.com) just email me and I can tell you what I currently have available that's similar and what the prices are....and then email you photos if you want.
Thanks for your interest...
Beth
i'm wondering if you sell wholesale and what the quantities/prices are?*
